To access your Microsoft 365 account (which includes Outlook on the web, the email client for Microsoft 365), open a web browser and go to webmail.westernseminary.edu.

When you get to the login page, type in your email address:  firstname.lastname@westernseminary.edu

Your password is the same one you use for SIS.  If you are unsure of your SIS password, you can reset your SIS password at apps.westernseminary.edu/user/password-reset.php.  As a note, your SIS username is just your first name with a dot and then your last name (i.e. joe.smith or laura.brown).

If this is your first time logging into your email, you’ll be asked to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) for you account.  A help article on MFA can be found here https://support.westernseminary.edu/a/solutions/articles/63000273384.

Once you’re logged in, you’ll be shown your portal page. The portal page displays the apps that you’ll be able to access, to include:

Outlook, your email and calendaring service

OneDrive, your cloud and file storage service

Word, your word processing and document creation service

Excel, your spreadsheet creation service

PowerPoint, your slideshow creation service

Teams, your organization instant messaging service
