If you have an Openpath account, you should have received an email from Openpath.  From the device you wish to use as a mobile “key”, please open that email and do the following:

     1. Install (but DO NOT set up) the Openpath mobile app. This can be done by clicking the appropriate app store button from within the email.

     2. Return to the Openpath email and click the “Set Up Phone” button.

NOTE:

It is important that the above steps are done from the device you wish to use as your electronic "key".  If for some reason the Openpath email was sent to an account that you do not access from your mobile device, you should forward that email to an account that you do use on your electronic device.  The most common example is when the Openpath email is sent to your WesternSeminary.edu account but you do not check (or have not set up) your WesternSeminary.edu email on your electronic device.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

Most setup issues arise when users attempt to login to their new Openpath app for the very first time without having completed their set up as described above.  It’s best NOT to try and log in to the app with your email address, but instead to return to the Openpath email and click the “Set Up Phone” button.

If you have received an email from Openpath but delayed setting up your account, it is possible we have already deactivated your account.  In that case, please contact tech support through our ticketing system here:
