I Am On Academic Warning/Probation. What Do I Do Now? Print

Academic Probation is meant to be a positive experience, rather than punitive. If you’ve seen the probation hold on your S.I.S. account, follow any instructions there, you can also follow up with your campus Student Service Director or studentservices@westernseminary.org.

Depending of what type of academic warning or probation you’re on, you’ll need to have a conversation about what’s preventing your academic success and how to remove any barriers for greater success. The person assigned to work with you may also use the APS, Academic Plan for Success, to guide you through challenges. Once you have the meeting or conversation, your probation hold will be removed so you can register for future terms or given instructions on next steps.

Refer to the Student Handbook for more specific details.
